Despite being saved in the station, and loading from that save, what they had available had suddenly changed. I figured I'd do the same when I reloaded, except when I did, the station was no longer selling 'L' packages. See, when I bought her I got the 'L' package so it came with nice shields and such. I did learn something fascinating though. Her first time out of dock the autopilot smashed into a docking pylon and killed me instantly. Oh yes, I christened my luxury liner the Julienne. I took it out to run its paces, and got a few cool shots of a Boron capital ship passing through a gate and manouevring through an Argon sector. Now I just get in range, hit shift + d, and I'm auto-magically docked.

So there won't be any more skin of my nose, weaving between space panels for me anymore. That being said, it's faster than my old freighter, gives me access to all passenger missions, and I bought a docking computer for it, so you can just teleport into a station once you get within 5km. I've almost smashed into things a couple of times because it's a HUGE blindspot. I don't have a shot from outside the ship, but you can see its prominent bow sticking way out front there. Most prominently a luxury passenger liner. So, I've made a few more ship acquisitions. Okay, nitpickers might note that screenshot says I'm just shy of 25 million, but I've got 1.7 million sitting in my energy hubs coffers, so technically I've got over 26 million. Unless you consider breaking 25 million credits exciting. I've still gotten in an hour or so each day, but nothing wildly exciting or noteworthy has happened.

I didn't want to get burned out on the game, so I've taken some time away to play some City of Heroes, SpaceChem (which feels as hard as real chemistry), and some Dungeons of Dredmor.
